Jeremy Evans, Managing Attorney at California Sports Lawyer, presented on sports and entertainment law at San Diego State University (SDSU) to their Pre-Law Society on Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
Guadalupe Melendez, Speaker Chair for the SDSU Pre-Law Society, who invited Evans to speak, said "Jeremy was one of the best attorneys we have had, and many of our members were motivated to go into sports/entertainment law."
Pre-Law member and SDSU student Kendall Bowers, said "Jeremy's talk was one of the most resourceful/informative/inspirational things I could have possibly attended or listened to at this time in my life and I couldn't be more appreciative. Everything Jeremy had to say really solidified my decision to become a lawyer."
Evans noted that several of the pre-law society members had already accepted scholarships at San Diego law schools and some were applying or getting ready for the LSAT.
Evans said he was honored to present and give back. His presentation focused on the differences between agents and lawyers, both practically and in terms of registration. He offered practical examples on client management and business development.
